My heart is overflowing with joy.
I feel so blessed.
God has given me so much.
It's all happened so quickly.
I can't keep up.
Oh, how He loves us so...
My house has become a Christmas oasis.
Pretty lights.
Hot holiday drinks in hand-warming mugs.
Smiles.
The smell of pine trees.
A place for Christmas visitors to stay
while passing through.
Today I went Christmas shopping
for all of the people I love.
I can hardly wait for them to open them
at Christmas and to see their individual
faces light up and make my heart smile.
This morning I got to talk with Grandpa on the phone.
He's in a nursing home now.
His heart is failing, we could lose him at any time.
Just hearing his voice made me smile.
He suffers from dementia,
so his memory isn't at its best.
But something that has never faded
is his sense of humor.
He is a beautiful man.
God has given me my brother back.
It's like discovering a long lost
best friend.
We can lift each other up with scripture
in times of struggle now.
This is the greatest Christmas gift
i've ever received.
This will be the best Christmas ever.
And I honestly can't bring myself to
desire anything more
than to just have family time.
And to be with the ones I love.
This year especially,
I'm just so excited for Christmas.
I'm in high spirits and in the mood
to celebrate.
Just to celebrate life.
I can honestly say that when you live close to Jesus,
you desire nothing more.
He completely satisfies my every need and deep yearning.
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. -Phillipians 4:19
I feel overwhelmingly blessed.
I will give you all my worship.
I will give you all my praise.
