Love is not just a feeling.
It is a choice.

It is a four letter word
tossed around as easy as
paper airplanes.

It is a four letter word
with a meaning that makes
men and women humble.

It is the key ingredient
of every little girl's dream.
Playing dress up and dollhouse.
Without the hope of a happily
ever after - there is no joy
in playing at all.

Every little girl,
at one point in her life,
dreams of that day.
When that man
surprises her with flowers,
a sweet song or dance
and a kiss for no reason.
Just because.
To make her feel special.
This to a little girl
is love.

It is the key ingredient
of every woman's marriage.
Experiencing life with that man
and giving what she has in her.
Even on the hardest days.
Without love --
there is no point
in trying at all.

Every woman
at one point in her life
remembers her little girl dreams.
Dancing around her room
with an armful of lillies.
Swinging and dancing.
Just because.
And this to her is still
her dream.

When that little girl
gets married,
no matter what she's experienced
in her life,
no matter what kind of love
people have shown her,
she'll always think of her dream.
And even if it was just a fairy-tale,
if that man could just
pretend with her,
even for a second,
she'd feel like the princess she's
always wanted to be.

And that is how,
in my opinion,
women fall in love.
