ali's Corner. [Dancing In The Rain]

There is so much I could say.

But this verse says a lot:
Blessed is the man [or woman] who perseveres under trial,
because when he has stood the test,
he will receive the crown of life that God has
promised to those who love him. -James 1:12

In times of great sadness and pain,
I am at the same time,
comforted.
Comforted knowing
that while my mind is
confined to thinking down
a one way street,
God's thinking is the bigger picture.
To Him, my life is a timeline.
And this trial is only a portion of it.
He, instead sees my entire life as a whole.
And I can't.
How can you argue with what's best for you?

How comforting it is to know
that God's way is what's best for me
right now.
Who knows what the future holds,
for that I am not concerned.

What joy it is in knowing
that God is holding me.
When I cry,
He cries with me.
And when I dance,
He dances with me.

Once you feel the love of Christ, your heart is changed forever.

God uses experiences,
words and our own spiritual gifts
to speak with and show other people
His love.

And I am His soldier.

There's no doubt in my mind
that God has been and will continue
to use my life for the good of other people.
And to lead them into a relationship that He
oh, so desires to have with all of us.
Because He is love.
A love that no worldly love
can even compare to.

And we know that in all things
God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28

We are all a part of something greater.
This empty worldly life isn't it.
God is something greater.
God is love.

How wonderful it is
to fall on Jesus.
Who KNOWS the desires of my heart.
Who WANTS to bless me with them.
and who KNOWS how to get me there.
No questions asked.

My feet just dove off the diving board.
This is the deep end.
Scared?
Not at all.
I am completely
head over heels
in love
with Jesus Christ.

  1. may I just say, if I had even a fraction of the maturity, faith, and Godly wisdom that you have at your age, I think things would have been a whole heck easier to navigate. You impress me all the time!
