It's time to get away.

Recently, I've found myself,
more often than not,
sitting down in my computer chair
and staring at the stupid blinking
cursor in my empty blog box.

My heart is heavier than usual.
My mind needs to release.
Every part of me
wants to create something.
anything.
a painting.
a sketch.
a photograph.
a song.
it is in my blood.

It is now
that the desires for my life
truly come out.
It's almost painful
to think about the things
I want out of this life.
Because I want them so bad.

It's more than a desire.
it's a purpose.
a calling.

My throat aches.
It's time to get away.
To smell the salty ocean air.
To feel the fresh coastal breeze.
To sit barefoot in the sand,
with nothing but me and my words.

Freedom is near.
