ali's Corner. [Dancing With God]

These past couple of weeks have been nothing more than
a series of tests, failures, realizations, triumphs and tears.

Today I was riding in the car with mom.
The song "Give Me Jesus" by Jeremy Camp came on.

Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus.
You can have all this world,
Just give me Jesus.

My soul cried.

There's something about music
when it strikes you as true or relative,
that can make your heart either dance or cry.

But there's something different about when Jesus touches you.
The arms of your soul open up like a crying infant in desperate
need of a loving embrace.
It's not a feeling this world has to give.
We were meant for such a bigger love.

Tears filled my eyes and I looked over to mom and said,
"Mom, these songs...
...oh, what they do to me..."

And she replied,
"That's how you know that you're walking close."

Oh, I feel like dancing.
It's foolishness I know,
but when the world has seen the light
They will dance with joy
Like we're dancing now.
