I always try and live by the quote:
" Don't wait for the storm to pass,
but learn to dance in the rain."
I strive to do that everyday.
Since the great banquet,
99% of my days
have been nothing short
of wonderful.
The joy I hold in my heart each day
is simply amazing.
It's nothing done by me,
but graciously implanted inside of me
by God.
Today, it poured.
Not just outside,
but inside, too.
I saw nothing but darkness.
In times like these,
I think it's important to recognize
the good in my life.
&& what I'm thankful for.
+ I'm thankful for my mom and her desire to comfort me.
+ I'm thankful for my dad and his undying pride for me.
+ I'm thankful for my church and it's gracious and loving ways.
+ for my job and how it's helped me grow as a person.
+ I'm thankful for my best friend, PJ and the wonderful man he's become.
+ for my health and all my needless possessions.
+ for my dogs.
+ for music and my ability to express my feelings through song.
+ I'm thankful for John and grateful that God's put him in my life.
+ I'm thankful for my small group from church and CRGB - for their support and love.
+ for Leah and her compassion and strength.
+ for time to myself.
+ for sunshine in the morning.
+ and rainbows after the rain.
my list could go on.
and that encourages me even more.
Today I, again, saw what life would be like without God.
dark.
I'm so thankful for the joy he fills my heart with each day.
That I walk out into the world with a smile on my face.
Not to us,
but to His name be the glory.
